Nedra Jones is Chief Financial Officer for the Council on International Educational Exchange (CIEE). Jones served previously as the CFO for the National Foundation for the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (the CDC Foundation) in Atlanta.
Before joining the CDC Foundation in 2021, Jones served as the CFO for the YMCA of Metropolitan Atlanta. She joined the YMCA in 2010 as controller and held the position of vice president of finance and risk before being promoted to CFO in 2019. She began her career at the Atlanta office of Deloitte where she became a senior auditor. Her previous roles included various accounting and finance leadership positions for Fortune 500 companies and large nonprofit organizations including First Data, AT&T, Black Entertainment Television (BET) and Clark Atlanta University. Jones is currently a member of the board of directors of the Boys & Girls Club of Metro Atlanta and previously served on the advisory board of the Cam Newton Foundation and the board of directors of It’s the Journey, Inc.—the Atlanta 2-Day Walk for Breast Cancer. She was also a founding board member of DeKalb Brilliance Academy and is a 2013 graduate of Leadership DeKalb. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and received her Master of Studies in Law from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law. She is currently pursuing a Doctorate of Business Administration from Johnson & Wales University.
