SEF Holds Informational Meeting with Georgia Legislative Black Caucus

On January 29, 2020, SEF’s Director of Research and Policy, Titilayo Tinubu Ali, and SEF’s Director of Government Affairs and Public Policy, Fred Jones, presented SEF’s history, legislative priorities, and research agenda to the Georgia Legislative Black Caucus (GLBC). In the presentation, Mrs. Ali and Mr. Jones highlighted the organization’s advocacy efforts, latest engagements, and publications. Mrs. Ali and Mr. Jones also emphasized to legislators that SEF is available and ready to work with them and support their education needs. SEF’s legislative network extends beyond the GLBC and includes members and education agency officials within and outside of Georgia.
