ATLANTA — Nedra R. Jones and Steve Bumbaugh have joined the Southern Education Foundation (SEF) Board of Trustees.

“I’m honored to welcome Nedra and Steve to the Board of Trustees of the Southern Education Foundation. SEF will benefit tremendously from their expertise and guidance,” said Raymond C. Pierce, the foundation’s president and CEO.

Nedra Jones is Chief Financial Officer for the Council on International Educational Exchange (CIEE). Steve Bumbaugh is Senior Vice President, College, Career and Digital Access at College Board.

“The SEF mission of advancing education opportunity remains critical for the nation.  SEF will be strengthened in our ability to continue pursuing this mission with the addition of these distinguished leaders to our Board of Trustees,” Pierce added.

Jones served previously as the CFO for the National Foundation for the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (the CDC Foundation) in Atlanta. Jones received her undergraduate degree from North Carolina A&T University and her law degree from the University of Southern California Gould College of Law.
