Chief Financial Officer
Kenya Rodgers serves as Chief Financial Officer at Southern Education Foundation, where she oversees financial strategy, legal and regulatory compliance, human resources, and information technology in support of the organization’s mission to improve educational opportunity, fair access, and just learning outcomes for students.
With more than two decades of experience spanning global nonprofit organizations and the private sector, Kenya has led high-performing finance, grants, and operations teams and strengthened organizational infrastructure. She has overseen complex, multimillion-dollar funding portfolios and driven operational systems that support sustainable growth. She previously served as Chief Financial Officer at Clean Slate Initiative, Vice President of Finance at Propel Education, and Managing Director of RaeDash Enterprises, LLC, a boutique consulting firm providing technical expertise and capacity building to nonprofit organizations worldwide.
Kenya is known for translating complex financial data into strategic insight, designing efficient and compliant operational systems, and stewarding diverse funding streams from government agencies, multilateral donors, and foundations while maintaining strong financial accountability. Her work spans the United States, Africa, and Western Europe.
She holds an MBA and a Bachelor of Arts in Finance from Clark Atlanta University and has completed executive certifications at Harvard University, Georgetown University, and Stanford University. Kenya is an active member of several professional organizations and is committed to serving her local community. She lives in the metro Atlanta area with her husband, Dedrick, and their very spoiled dog, Dash.
