SEF’s Testimony to GA Senate Education and Youth Committee In Opposition of School Voucher Expansion Bill

Sujith Cherukumilli, Legislative and Research Analyst for the Southern Education Foundation, testified in front of the Georgia Senate Education and Youth Committee regarding SEF’s opposition to Senate Bill 386, a proposed expansion of school vouchers in Georgia.

SEF also submitted a letter to the Chairman and Vice Chairman of the committee expressing our concerns with the voucher bill. 90.1 WABE, Atlanta’s National Public Radio (NPR) station, quoted the Southern Education Foundation’s testimony in their story covering the committee’s proceedings.
